My client, a London Market Insurance underwriter, requires a Business Analyst who will be responsible for gathering and understanding the business needs and then ensure that the requirements are accurately translated into appropriate system developments for a large SUN systems Accounting programme.


A well-rounded BA who is experienced at fulfilling several aspects of a project analysis:

The initial project is an ongoing SUN Accounting implementation.  The system is ‘Live’ but there are various pieces of work required to complete the project and to ensure the transition to BAU.
  • Mapping of various data sources (Corporate and Syndicate) to Sun Accounting;
  • Mapping of Sun Accounting feed to a Data Warehouse and vice versa;
  • Assisting the Project Manager on facilitation of ongoing SUN project work streams including but not limited to LESS module and a Purchase Ledger.
  • Facilitation of communication between internal teams, external suppliers and possibly other office locations in Bermuda and the US;
  • Maintenance of test and production incident log (in SharePoint);
  • Facilitation of UAT, including providing scripts;
Additional projects may include
  • Claims system upgrade
  • ECF Write Back on boarding
  • Policy interface

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • London Market Insurance (specifically Syndicate). - ESSENTIAL
  • Proven experience in field mapping between SUN Systems and DWH.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
