A leading London based Lloyd’s insurance business is currently looking for a Compliance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The salary on offer is £27,000 - £34,000 depending on experience. Please note that to be considered for this role, you must have some relevant insurance and compliance experience.

The main purpose of this role is to assist the Compliance Officers and Compliance Managers in the business and to ensure that the syndicates maintain and operate an effective monitoring and supervision framework.

To be considered for this role:
  • You must have at least 1-year insurance experience and compliance experience
  • You will ideally have knowledge of the Lloyd’s insurance market
  • You will ideally have experience with compliance monitoring
  • You will ideally have a professional compliance qualification or at least working towards one
  • You should be I.T. literate and be efficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • You will ideally have good knowledge of ICOBS and FCA/PRA rules and regulations relating to the insurance sector
  • Sanctions and financial crime experience would be advantageous
  • You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
