Our client is a well-established Chartered insurance brokerage based in Hertfordshire.

They are currently seeking ambitious Commercial Account Executives who would like to work on a Self-Employed basis and join as an Appointed Representative. If you have ever considered being your own boss, and possess excellent business development skills, then this could be the right position for you.

You will ideally be based within an hours’ drive of Stevenage and be Cert CII qualified.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual who will already have an-depth knowledge of dealing with all types of Commercial Insurance. A suitable candidate will have a real aptitude for sales, will be innovative and hit the ground running in this role and will be capable of building a book of business.

You will receive excellent ‘back office’ support for Account Handling, Broking, Claims, Credit Control, Marketing and compliance matters etc.

  • Salary: Uncapped earnings £40k to £60k plus
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years Account Executive experience required

You will be given full support and training, and be provided with the following tools to kick start your own business.

As a self-employed AR from day one, you’d be expected to hit the ground running, but that’s not to say you won’t be supported all the way. As well as full back office support, you will be provided with full learning of all the systems and processes that will help to make you a successful AR. You will also be offered regular training days designed specifically around you and your continuing professional development needs.

As well as prospecting for new business and ensuring your clients receive the correct levels of cover, you will be given full control of your clients servicing needs and be expected to maintain and build on the relationships that you create.
