Assistant Casualty Claims Manager
Upto 85k depending on experience

My client a well-respected national insurer are looking to appoint an Assistant Claims Manager for their casualty division. The purpose of this role is to support the Technical Claims Manager in the technical development of people, policy and process across all casualty teams.

You will actively assist in the delivery of technical leadership across the whole of casualty claims division taking responsibility for and managing their motivation, development and performance.

Developing customer relationships, working with the Underwriting and Risk Management teams to develop, implement and monitor Customer plans, including revenue generation targets and marketing initiatives, management of suppliers of choice, contribute, challenge and provide an alternative view with regards to the development and growth of the business.

Support in the delivery of technical claims handling standards and strategy across the department, including case reserving, providing technical direction and leadership for external professionals, including Loss Adjusters and Solicitors.

You will be responsible for assisting the Technical Claims Manager with overall leadership for the technical development of Casualty claims staff, the monitoring of technical competency of the claims handlers.

To be considered for this role you will be either ACII / FCII or LLB Qualified with significant Casualty experience, a track record of developing Claims strategies and have proven strong influencing and stakeholder skills.
