A major UK insurance broking operation is looking to appoint an Account Director to own, lead and develop an established portfolio of clients linked to the property and construction industry.

Your role

·With overall responsibility for a corporate portfolio of property and construction clients, your remit will be profitable and sustainable growth.
·You will use your knowledge of the market and associated risks to secure ongoing client relationships with organisations including property developers, agents, residential and commercial property owners, builders/contractors, asset managers and suppliers to the trade, amongst others.
·There is an impressive structure in place including a strong product portfolio and a panel of specialist carriers.
·You will have all the support you might expect including an experienced team of broking/client service professionals as well as award winning in-house claims, risk management and marketing functions.


·You will be an established Account Executive/Director with a track record of winning and managing corporate clients, preferably within the property and construction industries or with at least a strong understanding of these professions face.
·A natural leader, you will have the communication and negotiation skills to win the trust of senior stakeholders at clients and prospective clients as well as the commerciality to close profitable deals.
·You will be ready to progress your career as an expert in a niche area of the insurance market, with the backing of a true market leader.
·ACII qualification is preferred, although proven experience and the ability to demonstrate success is essential.
