Here at NFU Mutual, our customers are at the heart of everything we do and are our prime focus. This role is integral in ensuring we make our customers’ claims journey as smooth and efficient as possible. You will work closely with property claims leaders and teams within the business, as well as engaging with external industry bodies, to identify areas for improvement. Subsequently, you will work to design, develop and implement claims processes whilst guiding the business on plans and outputs and challenging where necessary.
Additionally, you will help interpret and communicate responses to legislative and regulatory change. You will enjoy keeping up to date with market and technical requirements and will inform the claims business of any emerging risks and opportunities.
The role will require strong technical knowledge within property claims as well as a good market and regulatory understanding in this area.
As well as being self-motivated and enthusiastic, you will have excellent interpersonal skills to allow you to develop strong working relationships to deliver strategic aims. Having the ability to influence others will be essential for delivering success in this role, and you will have experience of leading projects and implementing process efficiencies.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English. It would also be advantageous if you possess, or are working towards, a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACII or Adv. Dip. CILA).
