Your new company
Your new job working as an Account Handler in the private clients department; will be working for a privately owned Lloyd's Broker who have been established for over 50 years. Your new Brokers have offices based around the UK. They currently place in excess of £100 million into the insurance market on behalf of over 29,000 clients. Due to growth within their Essex based office for their Private Clients division, a permanent job as an Account Handler has arisen.

Your new role
Your new job working locally in Colchester as an Account Handler means you will be managing a Mid Net Worth Client Account with potential for growth and development, dealing with all aspects of the client's insurances from Homes, Holidays Homes, Fine Art, Travel, Motor, Yacht's and Associated Business.
Your new job you will be supporting the manager and team leader, calculating/negotiating and delivery of Renewal/MTA terms. You will maximise business opportunities and attract new business by speaking with Clients and Insurers by phone and face to face, identify cross and upselling opportunities from your own account and promote cross sales within the team. In your new job you will handle renewals maintaining high levels of business retention, New Business and MTA's. Other duties will include managing client debt, attending Appraisals as well as client visits. You will also build strong, long term relationships with clients, colleagues and underwriters.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working in the Insurance Industry handling Household or High Net Worth risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will ideally have Maths and English GCSE grade C or above and or have progression towards CERT CII. You must have proven Insurance experience and a stable work history. Great attention to detail, time management and communication skills. You will also be computer literate in Microsoft software to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You will be located in Colchester and therefore travel to this location is essential.
