As a growing Commercial P&C and Motor insurer, with prestigious office space in Central Manchester, this is a unique and challenging opportunity not to be missed.

As Senior Claims Technician you will work closely with the Operation Team Leader.  With a focus on Motor, you will have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of claims, including credit hire, personal injury and own damage. Casualty and/or Property experience is beneficial. You will be heavily involved in business development with major brokers and meeting clients on a face-to-face basis when required. 

The role will suit a competent and driven individual who wants to be part of a business that, by nature, is The challenger.  Claims handling and client relationship management  is the No. 1 priority for this role, but other interesting elements will be included over time. You will be expected to identify areas for improvement and lead projects to enhance claims offering to our clients and brokers. As a result you will demonstrate a proven track record of handling claims efficiently, accurate policy interpretation and ultimately making decisions.  In order to carry this role out to the high standards required, you will possess a high level of technical knowledge and be willing to “go the extra mile”.

Whilst excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, this will be a role where you may need to gather the facts and report in a concise and clear delivery.  Being confident in your own ability and best in class decision making is immensely important.  A very exciting role that will suit someone from a broker, insurer, adjuster or solicitor background.
