An established insurance business with a large branch network throughout Europe is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor.

The successful applicant will provide quality internal audit work to the companies in Europe. You will be expected to plan, manage and execute value added internal audits across all European locations, Help to establish internal control frameworks across the branch network in Europe, perform and lead annual internal controls testing, system walkthroughs and flowcharts for all European locations to comply with group regulations, perform routine testing across all departments and areas including but not limited to underwriting, claims, reinsurance, finance, human resources, risk management, Solvency II, governance, compliance, actuarial and IT and support the Head of International Internal Audit and the audit team with various administration, reporting and departmental tasks.

Applicants must be qualified accountants with relevant audit (either internal or external) and /or accounting experience gained within the insurance / financial services sectors, possess strong communication skills and be happy to travel throughout central Europe. (c25% of the role)

The ability to speak a second European language (French, German or Spanish) would be particularly advantageous but not essential.
