Commercial Account Executive
IDEX Consulting have been retained by a highly reputable and proudly independent commercial insurance brokerage in Yorkshire to identify a high calibre Commercial Account Executive to join their growing and successful team.
An award-winning independent brokerage who provide specialist insurance and risk management advice to mid to large commercial clients right across the UK. The business has enjoyed significant organic growth over the last few years, with 2018 being a record year for the business.
You will be responsible for managing a small existing portfolio of commercial clients with a view to growing this over the coming years in to a full book of business. The company offer excellent support in the form of lead generators and introducer relationships, but ultimately are looking for a self-starter who can build their own network of relationships with prospective clients.
The business has a large internal broking and highly successful claims teams to support their Executives and clients, which forms a key part of their sales pitch to new customers.
This role allows you to work remotely or in the office, with the business taking the view that successful Account Executives will want to spend more time out of the office than in. Full home working technical support is provided to enable this.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have proven experience of working as a Commercial Account Executive within the general insurance industry with strong business acumen and the ability to build new and secure existing relationships.
This is a great opportunity for a driven self-starter who would like to grow a book of business with the hand-up and then backing of this company. You will be hungry to succeed and have the confidence to approach new clients directly.
