Your new company working as an Operations Claims Technician, you will be working for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate based in the City. Your new Syndicate are one of the leading specialist Insurer who offers speciality and Commercial insurance and reinsurance products with over 1,700 employees in approximately 65 offices worldwide. Due to substantial growth in the Insurance business support division, an urgent need for a Claims Technician has arisen.
You new role
You new job working as a Claims Technician working within the operations department means you will be responsible providing administrative and technical support for Commercial and Operational Claims within agreed service level agreements. This includes processing of Fast Track claims, setting up and updating of claims and the co-ordination of Broker & Xchanging queries / incomplete items. You will also be responsible for bordereaux Management, managing / monitoring third party data feeds, payment processing, as well as other administrative tasks which support the Claims department. You will ensure that process and procedure documentation accurately reflect the activities, forge and maintain relationships with customers, internal and external, to ensure service levels are being met, issues which arise are recorded and managed appropriately and manage the timely response to requests for assistance or information.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Operations Claim Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have proven experience and solid understanding of Claims processes and procedures. You will have experience gained within the insurance industry. You will have advanced verbal and written communication skills in the appropriate language and the ability to interact with all levels. You will also have good organisational and prioritisation skills, ability to establish and maintain deadlines and service level agreements, experience of working to varying and tight deadlines and ability to proactively resolve issues.
