Claims Performance & Analytics Manager
As part of the transformation of our Head Office Claims function, we want to gain a deeper understanding of our operational performance, as well as the internal and external factors driving this. Our aim is to refresh the way we work with our data and stakeholders, to make our reporting more intuitive and supportive of business decision making. We are investing significantly in our MI reporting and analytics capability and are seeking a skilled MI professional to join our growing team at our Head Office in Stratford upon Avon.
More about the Role
In this exciting new role, you will lead the direction and development of the claims data and analytics strategy to provide forecasting and analysis, supporting and enabling the delivery of NFU Mutual’s overall claims strategy.
We will look to you to lead a new team who will be responsible for creating business data and providing high quality reports and analysis. You will be challenging existing methods and coming up with innovative solutions to provide the business with the analysis and insight it needs to inform key business decisions.
By working with subject matter and other claims data experts, you will be drawing many sources of information together to form a joined up view of what the data is telling us. You will lead the production of analysis and reporting that drives decisions and your contributions will help shape the future of how our data is presented and used across the business. You will do this by ensuring the right questions are asked, developing the analytical skills and capability needed within your team, and presenting meaningful insights to stakeholders in an engaging and ‘easy to understand’ way.
We are seeking a strong leader with a general insurance background who has a passion for claims, therefore possessing knowledge of claims processes, procedures and key drivers.
Strong relationship building and influential skills are key for this role, and you will be able to demonstrate experience of presenting and communicating management information to a range of stakeholders. You will be used to working with data structures and complex queries with experience of applying database manipulation skills.
In terms of systems, you would ideally have experience of ClaimCenter as well as interaction with other IT systems. It would be preferable if you also have SQL and Cognos qualifications. ACII would be an advantage.

Salary: £50-70k p.a. depending on experience + bonus (up to 25%)
