Due to the growth within their Quality Assurance team, a permanent position as a Quality Assurance Technician, has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role working as a Quality Assurance Technician will join the Technical Audit Team within the company's Technical Operations Division based their in Chelmsford office. The role is a blend of activity required to check, validate, authorise and issue formal contractual insurance documentation to clients and markets. This being slips, cover notes invoices, accounting & settlement (A& S) activity. Based on an agreed check lists and working protocols. You will be working alongside team members based in the UK front office as well as their offshore offices in India. Your will also be supporting the processing and or the resolution of queries related to the end to end processing of a premium. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for using the Global XB system to replace transactions, Audit and authorise as well as make sure all requirements are met.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician or Quality Assurance Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally experience of working at a Lloyd's Brokers within a Technical facet and have an understanding of MRC slips and related Technical documentation. You will also be able to commute to Chelmsford. You will be confident in your ability to check, validate, authorise and issue formal contractual insurance documentation to clients and markets. Previous experience of t Global XB system would be ideal but not essential. You will be required to have good time management skills, attention and have a good eye for detail are essential. You must be able to work both in a team and individually and be able to cope well under pressure.
