An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager, specialising on a corporate tax solution, to join a dynamic and ambitious specialty insurer in a home-based role covering the Yorkshire / North East of England as a region.


The Company
Our client is a well-established and successful multinational insurer with a rapidly growing market presence in the UK and significant expansion plans for the coming few years. The insurer has a strong brand within the tax advisory market, providing innovative and effective solutions to both accountancy sector and end client customers in a range of advisory areas.


The Role & Responsibilities
This role will see you take on responsibility for developing relationships with a panel of accountancy practices and end clients in the area, identifying potential opportunities with commercial organisations who would benefit from niche tax relief opportunities specifically in the R&D space. You will drive the pipeline of opportunities and proactively promote the brand and proposition to a broad audience of prospective clients across the region, including both accountancy practices and end customers from a range of industries and professions including manufacturing, IT, tech and engineering.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role it is essential you have strong experience in a Business Development background within the either the accountancy or banking sector with experience of interacting with commercial companies in relation to finance or R&D matters. You will need to have strong relationship development skills gained within a professions focused environment.


What's on offer
