Insurance Technician, City, up to £30,000, working for a Lloyd's Broker/ Cover holder

Your new company
Your new job working as an Insurance Technician, will be working for a leading Lloyd's Brokers / Cover holder based in the heart of the City. Your new Brokers successfully negotiated some of the UK's leading niche schemes for industries that have traditionally been more difficult to place . Due to the substantial growth within the Caribbean Property division, a unique and exciting opportunity as an Insurance Technician has a risen.


Your new role
Your new your new job working as an Insurance Technician, with your focus being on Caribbean Property business. You will be responsible for preparing and producing Certificates, Endorsements, Quotes, Application Forms and Pictures, producing debit/credit notes and processing premiums on in-house system. Preparing LPANS and submitting premium payments to markets through Xchanging as well as handling Xchanging and internal queries in respect of both Policy and Premium issues. Ad hoc management information tasks/projects. Liaising with agents on minor matters and sending out policy documentation when requested by the Associate Directors. You will also be responsible for general administrative duties including scanning, filing and entering data onto relevant spreadsheets as well as maintaining an electronic filing system.


What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience within a similar position will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will be CII qualified or working towards the CII qualification and at least A-C Grade GCSE's including English, Maths and ICT. Attention to detail and quality in your work is key, you will be able to manage own time, meet deadlines and prioritise work. You will have excellent communication skills and will have strong demonstrable IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be a team player and have enthusiasm, perseverance and drive to succeed within this role.
