Risk Management Assistant
We are working with a leading third-party Managing Agent within the Lloyd's of London Market to help them find a Risk Assistant to join their growing Risk Management function.
Reporting directly into the Risk Manager, you will have a remit spanning multiple syndicates which fall under the company's management where your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the risk system using Magique on a daily basis
- Collating and analysing insurance data which will then be used to write reports for the individual syndicates or for the Managing Agency more broadly
- Developing an in depth understanding of specific risks and emerging risks within each business and the market more generally
Given the exposure and responsibility contained within this role, the successful candidate will need to showcase strong communication skills with the ability to understand technical concepts and explain these to less technically minded stakeholders. Additionally, with the breadth of the role, you will need to show good organisational abilities allowing you to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team as well as having the flexibility to deal with competing priorities.
Sitting at an entry-level, this is an excellent opportunity for you to make use of your existing skill set developed through academic studies or work experience within a role spanning all areas of a business.
