Senior Insurance Claims Handler
Salary - Grade 7 £29,766 - £35,724 per annum (£37,842 unconsolidated maximum achievable through performance related progression)
Contract status - Permanent
Hours - Full-time, 36 hours per week

We are a successful South London local authority insurance service seeking to recruit an exceptional candidate to handle a portfolio of claims - including personal injury cases - for the council and its customers. The role will include training and supervision of junior colleagues and supporting team projects.
You will have at least two years experience of handling insurance claims, ideally including tree root liability cases. You will be able to demonstrate robust negotiation and investigation skills with a strong attention to detail. You will have a desire for innovation and continuous improvement and excellent communication and IT skills.
