The UK Warranty Service Programmes business is a market leader in providing a diverse range of Insurance products including pan-European mobile phone/ laptop cover for Apple and Dell, Spectacles cover for Boots and Rental Car Excess insurance. The business has grown rapidly in recent years and is successfully winning more major deals and so is expanding headcount. Your contribution at AIG

As a Client Manager you lead the AIG relationship with a portfolio of major clients taking full responsibility for account performance, operational management and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accounts operate to their maximum potential and fully in compliance with AIG processes and procedures. You will also assist the Service Programmes Head in the acquisition and on-boarding of new business.

Accountabilities for the role:

  • Support all client facing activity, drive and develop the account to its optimum potential
  • Monitor and manage clients & business partners and ensure they comply with AIG policies
  • Analyse client data and provide recommendations on pricing, marketing and sales strategies
  • Work with clients to develop & tailor products to increase production and profitability for both AIG and the client
  • Assist the Head of Service Programmes with the acquisition and launch of new business
  • Comply with all legal, compliance and risk management responsibilities
  • Work within agreed decision making standards, limitations and authorities

Experience & Qualifications Required:

A background in consumer insurance administration and account management, including market research, project management and client relationships.

Proven track-record of identifying opportunities within existing accounts.

A solid understanding of the client/product- life-cycle including administration and claims.

Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory, legal and compliance landscape related to individual products across multiple jurisdictions.

Good communication and numeracy skills, both written and oral.

Strong self-direction and initiative.

Organised and thorough with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly.

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint application knowledge.
