Broker Support Technician
BROKER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN C£35,000
Administration of clients' insurance requirements including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, accounting procedures and the preparation of all documentation.
To provide technical and administrative support to the broking team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
Liaise with the non-marine broking team regarding clients' insurance requirements and translate this to slip detail. Prepare slips that meet current market requirements.
Prepare cover notes, broker insurance documents, debit notes and premium adjustments on the Brokasure Enterprise system.
Monitor the timeliness of the placement process to ensure Contract Certainty is achieved and FSA deadlines are adhered to.
Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of clients' insurance needs.
Perform administrative duties for the department including photocopying, scanning, filing and archiving.
Conduct peer review of slips and other insurance documentation prior to being submitted to underwriters or clients.
Provide cover for the preparation and processing of policy documentation that meets Market Reform requirements. Support the maintenance of the policy register and assist with the handling of enquiries from Xchanging regarding policy matters.
