Your new job as a North American Property Technician, will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. They employ over 5000 staff and prides themselves on having an entrepreneurial cultural that their clients benefit from. Due to continued successful growth within the North American and International division, they are looking to recruit an experienced North American Property Technician/Account Manager to join their successful team.

Your new role

Your new job working as a North American Property Technician /Account Manager means you will be responsible for transactional broking and Technical broker back-up and support functions on key strategic NA and Canadian Line slips and Binding Authorities. Preparing Client and London market documentation to a high standard. Obtaining quotes from key markets. You will handle the day-to-day running of the facilities (key strategic Canadian Line slips and Binding Authorities) and assist with processing through internal broker systems as required. Liaising extensively with Underwriters, clients and Brokers on a day to day basis as well as attending any client meetings as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working in a London market broking/ technical account manager/technical role, handling direct facility Property risks, preferably from Canada or USA will contribute to your success in securing this role. The ability to prepare accurate London market MRC's and endorsements is a must! A good understanding of Property risks, wordings and a strong working knowledge of binders and facilities business processes. You will have the ability to prepare accurate Client and London market MRC's and endorsements, as well good understanding of Tax, Regulatory and Compliance for direct North American (Canada and USA) property risks, including the use of Lloyd's Crystal and quality assurance tools would be beneficial. As a focal point for facility day-to-day placement and broker support, you will have excellent organisation skills and be an advanced user of Excel.

You'll be offered a competitive salary of up to £50,000 - £55,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package. You'll receive support from both Directors and Managers and be given the opportunity to take on the further duties and responsibility in the future. This is predominantly an office-based role with training and study support offered.
