Your new role
Your new job working as an Underwriting Operations Technician means you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate reporting within the Operations team, supporting the Underwriting function via the Eclipse system. You will be responsible for liaising regularly with outsourcing partners to ensure prompt query resolution and have a good and working knowledge of Lloyd's MRC Slips. You will be responsible for monitor data quality through Data Quality Dashboard and various reports, ensuring Lloyd's Minimum Standards. You will be confident in being able to demonstrate a good level of competence in the use of management information systems to be able to understand the data and analyse any trends. Ensure consistent monthly reporting against all Key Performance Indicators and be a key point of contact for all internal stakeholders and functions including, but not limited to, Underwriting, Exposure Management, Underwriting Controls, Underwriting Operations, DUA and Compliance
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Underwriting Operations Technician within a leading Insurer or Syndicate where you have successfully manipulated Data via the Eclipse system will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be technically astute, analytical and have a sound knowledge of MRC Slips and Lloyd's processes. You will be confident in technical ability and be competent in your technical ability to manage/ process Slips via Eclipse and understand the compliance process of auditing TOBA's. You will be computer literate and be proficient in the use of computerised systems such as; Eclipse and Microsoft Office applications. You will demonstrate accurate and good attention to detail and be well organised and able to prioritise and multi-task. You will work confidently whilst independent and also be a team player and willing to work flexibly and proactively engage with other areas of the business.
