Your new job working as a Claims Handler will be working for an established and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers. Based in the heart of the City in attractive and spacious offices. They deliver market defining risk solutions to a select group of clients. Your new Brokers believe that an open, aligned and progressive insurance market benefits everyone. Their role is to create specialist transactions to manage risk, while delivering economic flexibility and stability for their clients. Due to the growth within the Property & Casualty team, a permanent position for a Claims Handler has arisen.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Claims Handler within an established team means you will deliver a high-quality Claims Handling Service to all clients, ensuring that Key Client Outcomes are delivered to agreed service standards. You'll be responsible for handling various types of claims from cradle to grave on a delegated basis from both clients and insurers as well as process driven and transactional claims servicing within timeframes set out in KPI's. Identify key areas in the claims process where risk is identified and take mitigating actions to limit exposure to E&O, be a specialist/SME in your area and an escalation point for others and ensure proactive engagement with Advocates/Loss Management Executives to maintain connectivity with advocacy and ensure swift client service. Other duties will include logging and reporting accurate claims information and understanding and adhering to processes and deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Claims Account Handler or Technician handling UK or International Property risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have the desire to undertake your professional qualifications and good communication skills. You will be technically able to learn new systems quickly and have a good understanding of Microsoft suite: Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. you'll have the agility and aptitude to work in a fast evolving, regulated environment. Attention to detail and ability to work across stakeholder groups and diligence and ability to work to strict deadlines within a pressurised environment will also be key.
