North American Property Binding Authorities Tech, City, Salary up to £60K, working for a Lloyd's Broker.

Your new company
Your new job as a Binding Authorities Technician working for an independent Lloyd's broker specialising in Excess and Surplus lines business emanating from managing general agencies and wholesale brokers in North America. Your new company have built an extensive reputation in the marketplace, on both sides of the Atlantic, their primary area of expertise being the development and management of binding authorities, or delegated authorities, on behalf of their clients. Due to growth within the company a new position for a Binding authority Technician (all Front End Support Duties) has arisen.


Your new role

Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician means you will be handling both Binding Authorities and some Open market North American business. You will responsible for Obtaining Quotes from Underwriters, fulfilling all front end MRC Slip Production duties - Premium Bordereaux processing, using Global XB, and Binder Cloud, and the production of Accounting Transactions. You will be dealing with Premium Bordereaux submissions to Xchanging and answering any Xchanging queries. You will be responsible for forwarding Risk Level Data Bordereaux from the Coverholders to Managing Agents on a monthly basis, together with monthly updating of Aggregate Reports. Exposure to Canadian Lineage is advantageous

You will also assist the Technical Team by using Global XB in the production of Open Market slips, Line Slip Off Slips, and certificates of Insurance bound under "In House" Binding Authorities, and the production of Debit/Credit Notes. You will handle with monthly bordereaux production for premium and Risk Level Data also the submitting Open Market Slips, and Bordereaux to Xchanging.

Your previous experience working as a North American Property Binding Authority Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have experience in using Broker systems and you will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, such as, Excel and Word and will be given full training in Global XP and Bindercloud. You will be confident in your ability to manage workloads and work well within a team
