Head of Onshore Energy, Heavy Industry/Power
This is a fantastic opportunity for a market professional who is either currently running a division but looking for greater challenges and opportunities, or a number 2 who has aspirations to be doing that and is keen to take that next step up. Whilst this role focuses on the placement and servicing of purely Facultative Onshore Energy business, they will consider either a wholesale OR retail background. The key here is having the Onshore Energy insurance experience at the most senior level, structuring some of the most complex and large onshore energy accounts, putting a broking strategy together, carrying out detailed market presentations, using your market knowledge to ascertain the best and most competitive channels in which to place the business and working closely with their long established clients to get the most comprehensive and competitive outcomes. Whilst much of the business is generated off the back of their existing direct accounts, any opportunities to grow existing clients or to bring on new ones will always be an added bonus. They will also be looking to grow the team so you will be instrumental in helping to do this and will be a key decision maker in the hiring process.
