Insurance Broker Operations Technician, City, working for an established Brokers, salary up to £25K

Your new job working as an Insurance Technician/ Broker Support Technician, will be working for an established and growing Lloyd's Broker, based in the heart of the City. Due to rapid expansion within the Non- Marine team, a permanent job for an Insurance Technician working on Operations and Broking Support has arisen


Your new role
Your new job working as a Broker Operations Support Technician will join their established International Casualty Technical Team based in their London office. As a Broker Support Technician, you will be responsible for an all-encompassing and diverse role. Duties will include, the production of all technical documentation; MRC Slips, Endorsements, Credit/ Debit notes and Presentations. You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Operations and the team with premium signings and dealing with Xchanging. Due to the nature of the position, you will also be expected to support the Broker in servicing client accounts, managing their technical needs and be confident enough to liaise and keep up with the demands of clients and underwriters. Furthermore, you will be responsible for; Preparation of MRC and MRCE, Invoicing of Premiums & Bordereau) and submission to Xchanging via IMR. Moreover, you will be Monitoring and Actioning Bureau Held Funds and Monthly KPI's you will be heavily involved in all operational targets set by the head of Operations


What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Operations Insurance Technician, Broker Support Technician or having undertook a Technical role within a Brokers will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will have experience of working at a Lloyd's Brokers within a Technical facet and understand how to produce MRC slips and related Technical documentation. You will be confident in your ability to liaise and managing client needs - be accurate and timely when it comes to producing all technical documentation. You will be confident in MRC Slip Production, EoC production and be competent in the Technical Processing function. You will have a sound knowledge of International Casualty risks. You will be required to have strong computer skills (ideally Atlas, BARS, Brokersure & PPL) and aptitude to learn bespoke packages, attention and have a good eye for detail are essential. This role would suit an Insurance Technician who wishes to work in the City.
