Your new job working as Open Market Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Due to substantial growth within their North American Division a permanent position for an all-encompassing Open Market North American Technician has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as an Open Market Technician means you will provide a quality service to clients covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements within the North American and/or International Market division by ensuring high professional. You will be responsible for producing formal documents to include, but not limited to, BIDs, Certificates, Endorsements, MRCs, Policies etc, and checking for accuracy prior to receipt by clients. The role will also include submitting policy documentation to signing offices (both bureaux and non-bureaux) as well as producing debit/credit notes and processing premiums. Other duties include ensuring the maintenance of diary checks (manual and electronic) and statistical information and managing own files as per Procedures Manual.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Open Market Technician ideally dealing with Open Market risks for North American and/or International business will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have knowledge high understanding of all London Market procedures. Knowledge of A&S systems would be beneficial. You will have the ability to complete tasks, including the checking of documentation and data with the highest standard of accuracy requiring good attention to detail. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written and have the ability to work collaboratively with others, building relationships. You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Software to include; Word and Excel and have a working knowledge of Insurance Databases. You will ideally be Cert CII qualified or studying towards.
