Your new company

Your new role working as a Corporate Account Handler will be within an established Lloyd's Broker who specialise in the placement of commercial business into the London market on behalf of UK and European intermediaries. Located in the heart of the Birmingham, the business is fast growing as well as fast-paced with a young and vibrant team. Your new Brokers ensures that they attract the most talented professionals to work with them and create an environment where all employees have a stake in their success. Due to the growth within their team a new position for a Corporate Account Handler role has arisen.

Your new role

Your new job working as a Corporate Account Handler means you will develop Client and Insurer relationships to maximise business opportunities and place Commercial Lines business within your authority limits and within the approved markets. You will be responsible for New Business, Renewals and Adjustments including reviewing the adequacy of the covers and suitability of the terms being offered. You will use all core systems to include Acturis, Salesforce ensuring they are regularly updated for effective. Other duties will include liaising with Finance including Credit Control to ensure all queries are resolved quickly and efficiently, as well as attending Company and/or Branch meetings and events as required, including prescribed training

What you will need to succeed

Your previous experience working as an Account Handler, handling Commercial or Property & Casualty risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have a positive Attitude, and a great customer and quality focus. You will ideally have experience using the system Acturis and Cert CII qualification is desirable, but not essential.
