Your new job working as a Property Policy Technician will be working for an established and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers. Due to the growth within their Worldwide team dealing with Property business, a permanent position for a Policy Technician has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Property Policy Technician means you will be responsible for the production of Policy Documentation to enhance the service provided to Clients/Agents. You will analyse Market Reform Contracts and endorsements to ensure clarity of placement and incorporate policy documentation, as well as checking policy documents prior to bureau submission. You will liaise with Brokers / Clients / Underwriters, responsible for placement to establish nature/extent of coverage required in placement, creating bespoke documents where appropriate. Also, you will prepare/Check certificate documentation to accurately represent the details of the placement and liaise with Underwriters' representatives to achieve agreement to a Document that both parties believe represents the placement. Other duties will include checking Policy Documents prior to submission to XIS and review of returning e-policy document for correct market attachment and jacket, reviewing and resolving of any Bureau questions arising and recording movements / signature of Documents on internal computer record.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Property Technician handling Policies and Wordings will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have vast experience of handling wordings in respect of Worldwide open market business, as well as proficient knowledge of the wording, policy structure and clause combinations. You will have an understanding of regulatory and tax requirements in the territories concerned, using Crystal where appropriate, as well as being a proficient user of Total Objects search, tracking and documentation skills, Microsoft Office programmes/Outlook and Internet Explorer. You should have good administration and time Management skills, can manage own workload and act independently. Preferably you will be Cert CII qualified or above.
