Senior Corporate Account Handler, Colchester based working for an established Broker. Salary up to £50,000

Your new company
Your new job working as a Senior Corporate Commercial Account Handler will be working in the Corporate Commercial department for a privately owned Lloyd's Broker who have been established for over 50 years. Your new Brokers have offices based around the UK and currently place in excess of £100 million into the insurance market on behalf of over 30,000 clients. Due to growth within their Commercial team based within their office a permanent job for a Senior Corporate Commercial Account Handler has arisen.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Commercial Account Handler means you will be responsible for dealing with large major Global clients whilst liaising effectively with them and the Account Executives to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal, as well as attending client meetings as necessary. You will prepare any minutes, actioning meeting points where directed. You will produce and issue professional summaries and reports using templates as well as issue renewal documentation. Other duties will include ensuring premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover and handle all queries, whether written or by telephone. You will deal with the administration of clients' insurance requirements on a daily basis including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations, closing sales, invoicing of premiums, cross-sales. The role will be office based but may require occasional travel for client visits, off-site training and other meetings as and when required

What you'll need to succeed
Your experience working as a Corporate or Global Account handler or you will have experience in handling larger premiums will contribute to your success. being confident and have good attention to detail, as well as having good knowledge of the Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook E-mail systems. Prior knowledge/experience of the Acturis computer system would be preferable. It would also be desirable for the successful candidate to be CERT CII or DIP CII qualified or equivalent or evidence to show they are making good progress towards it and be willing to progress towards professional qualifications.
