Your new job working as a Regional Development Manager will be working for an A* rated Insurance Company providing insurance cover for customers via insurance brokers, intermediaries and direct distribution channels. Currently employing around 1,900 staff within their 8 offices throughout the UK with specialisms in Private Clients/ HNW, Property Owners and Commercial Insurance business. Due to substantial growth within the company a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Development Manager( Development Manager) handling Property Owners business ) has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Regional Development Manager means you will be responsible for the maintaining existing relationship and growing Commercial and Property Owners business. This is a hands on role managing some significant relationships and overseeing a panel of around 25 brokers. You will be working in tandem with the Real Estate underwriters and supporting colleagues to manage and grow Real Estate accounts. Your responsibilities will include developing and facilitating strong internal network, as well as implementing relationship management techniques to include business planning, negotiation skills and sales practices. Other duties will include; ensuring that knowledge of the marketplace is maintained and fed back across the business. As the external face and key point of contact for brokers you will uphold and enhance the reputation and standing of the company. This is a hands-on role Business Development /relationship Management role where you will manage some significant Real Estate relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Development Manager, handling Real Estate/ Property Owners or Commercial Combined risks will contribute to your success. You will have the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships and the ability to demonstrate meeting and exceeding personal objectives and company-wide targets. Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to work with others internally and externally as well as individually. You will have good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
