Technical Account Handler to £35,000
Location London
Job Purpose
To provide end to end technical support to broking and underwriting teams, ensuring all tasks are completed to the standard required by the Company.
Responsibilities
*Preparation of MRC's, Insurance Policies, Schedules and Endorsements for various classes of business ensuring documentation is to the standard required by the Company, Client and Insurers on the Core Broking Systems with the set KPI's
*Binding Authority Agreement and Coverholder Appointment Agreement production on the Core Broking Systems within the set KPI's
*Preparation of Evidence of Cover documentation and Premium processing for risks placed within the time frames required by the business and Company on the Core Broking System within the set KPI's
*Provide technical support to the in-house Underwriters and Producing Brokers
*Preparation of In House Premium Paid Bordereaux as required and set out within the terms and conditions of the slips in the format agreed in the slips within the set KPI's
*Preparation of all closings to DXC within the timeframes set out in the slips and the agreed KPI's. To include a thorough review of the placement, endorsement or premium bordereaux to limit queries and re-work
*Assist with resolving of any queries received from DXC, Underwriters and/or internally within the set KPI's
*Liaise closely with Claims, Compliance and Finance providing support as required
*Take responsibility for own work ensuring all work meets the highest standards and is completed on a timely manner inline with the company requirements
*Taking on ad-hoc duties as required by line manager
Person Specification
*Previous technical experience in a similar capacity and preferable acquired through previous role(s) with a Lloyd's Broker.
*Understanding of Lloyd's Systems such as Crystal and Binding Authority Registration.
*Collaborative team working approach
*Accurate and attentive to detail
*Ability to work with employees and clients at all organisational levels
*Good communication and organisational skills
*Be flexible and complete tasks within required timeframes
*Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Office (Word, Excel)
