Your new role working as a Corporate Commercial Account Handler will be within an established Lloyd's Broker who have offices around the UK. Your new company have successfully grown groups of businesses across different elements of the insurance sector. The Group is growing rapidly both through acquisitions and by employing outstanding individuals with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the insurance market. You new Brokers are continuing to grow and expand from a wholly UK base to mainland Europe with trade reaching to Latin America. Due to the growth within their Corporate team a new position for a Corporate Commercial Account Handler role has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Corporate Commercial Account Handler means you will be dealing with clients from inception to completion ensuring the smooth running of an assigned client portfolio. Part of your role will require you to meet clients face to face (when able to) and build strong business relationships, understanding all the client requirements. On a day to day basis you will liaise with clients and insurers (both verbally and in writing). You will make sure that clients are accurately invoiced, on or before renewal dates, respond to client queries, Insurers and internal stakeholders as well as prepare client reports and letters accurately. Other duties will include checking insurer documentation and logging and updating all new and existing policies onto the Insurance system or Excel.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Account Handler, handling Corporate Commercial or Commercial risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will be well versed in Account management and have experience in using Acturis, You will be confident obtaining information from clients and Underwriters via telephone & e-mail as well as have the ability to build good relationships with both Clients and Underwriters/Insurers. You will have a positive and can do attitude
