My client, a rapidly growing Insurtech focused on reducing the complexities and inefficiencies in the placement of insurance, is seeking a Business Development Manager based in the South, to become an effective member of a UK wide sales team.

You will drive growth in the business by securing new broker partners, maximising the potential of existing Broker partners and seeking new opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Growth of platform as measured by number of new Brokers on platform and GWP
  • Take personal responsibility to grow and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Effective use Salesforce to manage sales activities
  • Ensure expenses are kept within agreed parameters and are aligned to the sales budget
  • Achieve and exceed target platform GWP
  • Actively look for new opportunities to generate additional revenue
  • Work with marketing to ensure sales message and market communication is consistent and effective
  • Driving behaviour to align with the organisation's core values, goals and strategy
  • Effectively communicate with other parts of the business in particular the customer success team
  • Use of digital resources to identify opportunities and trends for future business development (Dashboard use / system demos / consolidation and rollover deals)
  • Wider team support as and where required
