A major broking house is seeking a Non-Marine Claims Broker to deal with a blend of Property, Casualty and Homeowner Claims. This role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity but if performing well it is highly likely to evolve into a permanent position.
The role will entail handling claims from first notification to final settlement, processing and broking of the claim on in-house and market systems such as ECF/Class and monitoring Underwriter responses via ECF or email. The Claims Handler will also liaise with clients/ TPA's and other third parties and assist in the review of migrated claims and create Claims on Workflow.
This role would be ideally suited to someone who has gained Property and Casualty claims experience in a similar environment i.e. for a Lloyd's/ wholesale Broker and has knowledge of ECF. The soft skills they are looking for are good interpersonal and communication skills, good organisation, administration and computer skills. Overall a genuine interest in claims and a desire to progress in the industry is sought.
