We are recruiting for an ATE Underwriting Manager to join DAS UK Group to oversee the delivery, development and oversight of initiatives to improve the integrity of and profitability of ATE underwriting.
This role includes monitoring, analysis and reporting of pricing, key performance drivers and emerging underwriting and claims trends of all ATE lines of business. It also includes identification and recommendations for departmental, process, governance and oversight improvements for ATE Underwriting and Operations.
As the ATE Underwriting Manager, you’ll have oversight of technical content of the DAS ATE products and their performance as well as monitoring pricing adequacy and identifying trends, covering improvements, areas for development and where customer outcomes could be improved. You will support the Head of Underwriting in ensuring all ATE products are market leading and provide good value for customers.
In addition, you’ll be responsible for sharing information regarding the allocated products and their performance to the relevant areas of the business, ensuring that all business areas are aware of underwriting and legal trends and legislative impacts. You can also expect to own reporting from both a prudential and conduct perspective and maintain and improve process, monitor quality assurance, oversee operational decisions/actions and act as a project stakeholder where required.
As well as overseeing complex and high risk underwriting tasks, providing an escalation point for ATE Operations, you will oversee the day to day management of the team providing technical guidance and leadership in product development, product management, product processes and policy wordings.
