This experienced team proactively develop business through various means including networking and also respond to a high level of inbound enquiries. The role of the Business Development Executive is to contact these prospects (mainly Fintech and Financial Institutions), visit them where appropriate, qualify why they are looking for a quote, gather as much information as possible, sell the benefits of the company and ultimately place the business in the market. There would be the option to keep a number of these client relationships going forwards or pass them over to the servicing team. There is also the option to work with the marketing team to run campaigns in specialist sectors.
Highly motivated strong converters of business are sought for this role, ideally with a solid knowledge of Financial Institutions business, though candidates from a wider Financial Lines/ Professional Indemnity background may also be considered.
