We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Commercial Account Handler to provide technical and administrative support to our team of qualified Account Executives. This will involve working on both an existing portfolio of clients and also new business prospects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of the group’s plans for expansion.

The Role

Some of your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Acting as first point of contact within the service team for day to day client insurance queries
  • Sharing of relevant information amongst the servicing team to ensure required actions are taken to meet clients' needs
  • Helping with renewal retention and growth of existing client accounts by building and maintaining effective client relationships
  • Working within agreed client service plans
  • Prepare and submit accurate market presentations
  • Negotiate terms with holding and prospective insurers
  • Analyse quotes to ensure best coverage and premiums
  • Assist in the preparation of Renewal Reports
  • Issue insurer documentation to clients within agreed timescales
  • Attend client meetings as requested
  • Working in accordance with the Circle Insurance Services compliance policies including completion of mandatory training.
  • Although not registered as an Approved Person, comply at all times with the FCA’s 11 Principles For Business.

About you:

As an experienced Account Handler your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Previous experience in the role of Account Handler
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Customer focused ethos
  • An understanding of and interest of the insurance market
  • The ability to handle significant workflow through efficient time management and be able to work flexibly when required
