Your short to mid- term goal is to continue developing/managing new corporate clients, but you would like the opportunity to run your own team, lead from the front, pass your knowledge on and drive performance. You feel you have the right attributes and show the appropriate behaviours to lead a team, you're understanding of people's stresses/emotions, you are target and results driven and you're confident in your ability to make a positive impact.
You have no interest in working for one of the large corporates where you have less autonomy to make things happen. This is your opportunity, to step up into becoming Sales Director for a top 15 UK Independent Broker.
As Sales Director, you will lead a team of 7 Account Executives/Directors, whilst managing a small portfolio of clients, you'll be fully qualified (or at least DIP CII), and have an interest in dealing with mid-corporate clients.
Your new team manage clients of the size that global brokers typically find too small/SME - These are 50-500 million turnover businesses with 100+ people..... sweet spot client earning £10k - £50k in income.
When we say Sales Director, we are not talking about an aggressive new business culture, you'll be leading a relationship led business so your new business style will be more suited to being advice led and consultative….. and you'll look to lead by example
Your new Broker will look to reward you generously, and anticipate you'll be earning £6figures, a salary up to £85,000 + car allowance + a guaranteed bonus in year 1. Based in Manchester, you'll manage your time from home and when in the office, therefore we are able to consider candidates locally or from Yorkshire / Liverpool.
