A large independent Broker is keen to expand their Financial/ Professional Lines presence in London and as such is looking for an Account Executive/ Broker to help them achieve this. This is both a client facing and market facing role.
They currently have a large profitable book of UK retail business comprised of Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions and Commercial Directors and Officers risks. The Head of Division requires assistance managing some of the existing book including placing business in the hard market, but also would like someone to help grow the book through new business development (networking/ linking with associations etc.). Flexible working is encouraged so once things open up, the role is likely to entail few days in London each week and the remaining days seeing clients/ at home.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong Underwriter relationships in PI, D&O and FI, or one of these three areas. However if an individual is strong in sales and has less developed relationships, support with broking can be provided. A track record building relationships with associations/ introducers would be attractive coupled with confident networking skills. The team is not strong in Cyber, so experience in Cyber insurance would also be useful, as a further avenue to grow the book.
