Insurance Administrator - Commercial Insurance

We have a permanent role with a small, independent broker based in Harrow.
Our client is looking for someone with 12 months + experience in a commercial broking environment who is looking to learn new skills and develop their knowledge.
You will be supporting the Director and Senior Account Handler to provide a 360 degree service working with clients and insurers for the placement and servicing of UK SME risks across;
- Property owners
- shops & retail
- cafe & restaurants
- hotel & guest houses
- motor fleet
- specialist lines
*Minimum of 12 months experience in a commercial insurance broker.
*Use of Applied TAM or a similar software house would be useful
*Familiar with electronic trading through Insurer e-trading portals
*Exceptional organisational skills including the ability to prioritise, diarise and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
*Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate and conclude sales on the phone
*Confident face-to face presentation skills
*Ability to nurture business relationships and build a rapport with clients, underwriters and other professionals
*Strong numerical, administrative and IT skills
*Understand the importance of client confidentiality and keeping accurate records
