Marketing Consultant

My client is a globally recognised Insurer who operates across several different lines of business. The business finds themselves in a unique position where they are building a brand new Marketing Team.

Responsible for the proactive development and execution of our clients internal and external employer brand and communications strategy across UK & Europe. Delivers proactive marketing service to internal stakeholders, leads campaigns that drive heightened employee engagement, builds the brand throughout the organisation, takes lead on strategic events internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align our people and our customers behind a cohesive corporate message that outlines who we are, what we do, what we stand for, what value we bring, how we do it and outlines where we are headed
  • Works with the US to maximise and leverage our global corporate resources to enhance our external and internal brand
  • Partnering with the business to design and deliver campaigns as required
  • Creates and maintains materials to ensure brand guidelines and tenants are adhered to and incorporated across all marketing and communications
  • Develop key KPI's to demonstrate effectiveness of strategies accordingly

Internal Brand & Communications Strategy:

  • Develops, implements and deploys an internal brand and communications strategy that educates, inspires and motivates employees
  • Designs and execute a communication calendar and manages the internal intranet as a tool for driving business engagement
  • Develops effective business partner relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels across UK & Europe through proactive engagement and understanding
  • Increase staff engagement and knowledge through delivery of targeted and meaningful internal comms, campaigns and events that builds our culture
  • Works with the Leadership team and stakeholders to coordinate internal events, including 'town halls' and strategic 'off-sites' and drafts content for Senior Executives for Company presentation

External Brand & Communications Strategy:

  • Supports the Company's external marketing campaigns strategy
  • Accountable for the development and execution of external events and ensuring events are on brand and on-message. Including but not limited to employee events, customer events, industry events and individual speaking events
  • Use digital channels and social media to dynamically enhance the company's brand externally
  • Supports the Marketing and Communications Director with PR strategy for communications and positioning that aim to protect, defend and build the brand

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and with ability to interact and build strong partnerships and networks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to take initiative and proactively drive marketing and organisational strategy
  • Ability to translate technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise prose appropriate for various targeted audiences
  • Strong presentation, verbal, writing and editing skill with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CRM, Marketing Automation, Social Media and e-marketing valued but not essential
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business related software
  • Knowledge of insurance industry valued but not essential
