We have been retained by an international broking house with a first-class M&A insurance group - they are considered to be the go-to for private equity, real estate funds, institutional investors and corporate acquirers for the arrangement of W&I, tax and contingent risk policies. The team is looking to appoint a tax lawyer to lead on advising buyers and sellers on tax liability insurance arrangements and executing the placement of the policy with insurers at closing. Deals are primarily multi-jurisdictional and cross-border sitting within the upper-mid market to premium space. The wider team has an impressive roster of lawyers who advise buyers and sellers on warranty and indemnity insurance ("W&I"), tax and contingent risk arrangements globally.
