An International Specialty Insurer looking to build out their national Technology insurance team, is seeking an experienced Underwriter in London. This business have a market-leading wording and experience handling complex PI and Cyber claims. High standards, strong service and integrity are at the core of their culture.

This Senior appointment will be covering the South of the UK, from the Midlands down, so can be suited to Underwriters in London or Birmingham and the surrounding regions. The first 12 months of the role will be focused on new business, then in year two there will naturally be a balance with renewals.

Their clients are typically software, data centres, IT consultants, manufacturing, and telecommunications companies etc. paying £25k - £2m GWP. The typical package product includes Property, Casualty, PI and Cyber, though they also have authority to write mono-line business.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a number of years' experience underwriting Technology business, both new and existing, at Underwriter level and have a solid network of Technology Brokers (Globals, Nationals and Regionals). However, PI/ Cyber/ Property/ Casualty Underwriters may be considered, providing they have a genuine appetite to move into the technology sector.
