A leading multi-national insurance business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance and regulatory risk candidate to join a large, established and dynamic team. The position is based in London, permanent and is a Regulatory Affairs Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of expert compliance advice and guidance primarily to the compliance team and also the business as required. They will also liaise with the regulators and build strong working relationships and assist approved persons in their preparations for regulatory interactions, and facilitate an open, honest and constructive relationship between the regulators and the business.

To be considered for this position we are looking for candidates:

  • With in-depth technical knowledge of FCA regulations relating to the insurance sector
  • With a law degree and/or legal qualifications
  • Which can demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge working with specialty lines insurance products
  • With extensive experience working across the three lines of defence
  • With good knowledge and understanding of conduct risk
  • Which can provide proven examples of giving compliance advice to the business and senior stakeholders in a business
  • Which can provide proven examples of building relationships across the business including senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Which have experience in people management and must have managed one or more individuals in previous roles
  • Which are currently working in or have recently worked for an insurance business, ideally the Lloyd’s/London Market as opposed to other insurance sectors
  • Which will ideally have a professional qualification such as a ICA Compliance Diploma
